Japanese Kokurydudo Privacy Curl Keeper Spray + Etude House Glow Base Sun Guard

The Privacy Curl Keeper Spray is an interesting item. The innovation and thought behind the project is great. Essentially a hairspray for your lashes! All you do is spray is on your curler, let it dry a little until it starts to get tacky and then curl your lashes. Well this product does work great and I did see a difference at the end of the day when compared to my other eye that just had the curler and no curl keeper. The only problem is that the amount of alcohol in it seems high as it can burn the heck out of your eye! Use it with caution.

Etude House Glow Base SPF 36 PA++.  I love this stuff! It smells very soft and light like flowers and has a pearl based shimmer in it. It lasted all day in the sun when I used it. I used it when I went to the beach. The only downfall is that if you need to use it a lot, it can be a problem because it is not a very large tube and it does not come in a bigger tube.
The concentrated  Sun Guard is at the top of the hand and it is rubbed in at the bottom of  my hand. The shimmer is very fine and it is not chunky and it gives you a nice soft sheen. I wish they made shimmer based sun block over in the US but they do not. Sunblock is boring but the tanners have fun scents and shimmers over here. Maybe I need to talk to some chemists lol!

Etude House Precious Mineral BB Pact and Brightener

The Etude House Precious Mineral BB Pact comes in three colors. I bought the lightest one which may have been to light. It does not offer much coverage.  I personally love this smell. It smells like flowers, vanilla, and white lilies.  It has an SPF of 25 PA++. It kept my face dry all day!!

The print is very topical.
The precious mineral Brightener has three colors in the palette. It has a very interesting texture. It has three colors, pink, white and aqua. It also has a pearl design in it. I like to use each color on different parts of my face to make my face look different and different angles.

On the top is the three colors of the highlighter and on the bottom is the mineral powder.
These are both very reasonably priced ($10-$15). They are very fun pretty and smell great! I highly suggest trying them out if you can afford them.

Etude House Orgel Light Eyeshadow Trio 06

What a lovely box!
Oh my the packaging! How we get sucked by its Prettiness! This pink color compact is an identical color to my car! No Kidding!
This eyeshadow trio is heavily pigmented! I love it! They are very shimmery! Make sure you use a primer with this one ladies!  Otherwise you will be wearing the color on your cheeks!

The top color looks more like a khaki green. The middle is an intense light pink shimmer and the bottom is a midnight blue. I purchased this from an etude house seller on Gmarket.
I am tempted to buy more!!!

Etude House BB Magic Mist - Disappointment!

Well I bought this because it said BB of course! I have the Etude House BB Magic Balm and the BB Magic Mousse in which I love both! However I thought that this item was going to give all the benefits of a BB like coverage, moisturization, help blemishes etc.  But it does not offer any coverage at all. It is a sheer mist. Probably mostly made of water and alcohol. It really did not do anything. It did not help blemishes or anything! Its probably nice on a hot day or after a work out but sadly it just feels like I am spraying water on my face.

Etude House I Can't Stop Smiling - Spring Collection

I have had this collection for a few days and I just could not wait to post on it but with the holidays it has been hard.

So first the prettiest part of the collection is the I can't stop smiling blush pearls.

The puff in this is so beautiful! The bottom of the puff is a pink velvety puff but the top is an angelic fluffy bow!

Below is the multi color pearls. Despite this being protected in shipping, most of my green pearls were broken. Of course as most asian blushes, it is not a blush. It is more of a highlighter. I did not swatch the highlighter because I could not get a good picture of it. It really just gives a pretty light pink sheen. The pearls are more chalky and more powdery than shimmery. So in my opinion it has a texture like a blush but looks more like a soft highlighter.
The next part of the collection is the "Smile" perfume. I purchased it in the jelly form. They do sell it in a neat lace bottle as well. Well this perfume is kinda strong. It smells like most asian perfumes in my opinion. It is very heavily scented but it does have a nice lemon smell in the background. I put a little on my wrist and I had a headache for hours =(
Below is a cute little kit that I heart so much. It has for little containers each with something different.
When you turn over the containers, the bottoms have a special shape in the plastic such as a heart or star. They really payed attention to the detail.

So the yellow star is a cake fragrance in the scent of "Smile", the "star" is a pink blush cream, the blue heart is a silver cream shadow that unfortunately creases like mad but if you mix it with some powder is helps prevent the creasing. The last container is a clear orange sheer gloss that smells like the "smile" fragrance.
From left to right: the silver shadow, the pink blushing cream, and the clear gloss.
When it comes to color and overall performance, the lipgloss collection is the best. These smell like berries and have a great color payoff! I just love the boxes in this collection! I just do not want to throw any out!
Left to right: The berry color gloss is more of a light pink shimmer gloss, the middle gloss is a very light pink gloss but with purple iridescence and last is a red berry gloss that has no shimmer. All of these are truly lovely.

This whole collection was purchased from the Gmarket seller Etude House.

What do you think?

I want to know!

Eyeshadow FOTD- Etude House and Dior Iconic Mascara

So I am wearing an Etude House Eyeshadow Palette. One of the limited editions ones in which they had the dark eyeshadows. I have navy blue on the bottom, the gray and purple on the middle of the lid, and then over the whole eye lid I have the white shimmer.

I am also wearing the Dior Iconic Mascara. I must say I think I have achieved the perfect "fan" with this mascara.

Etude House Nail Polish

On the left, PK008 and on right PP903. I paid $1.50 for each on Gmarket. I love the pink because it has a purple iridescent behind the pink. I like the pastel purple because its Matte but it looks different than most nail polishes. With a top coat and base coat, the polish lasts for at least three days without a chip. Not bad not bad =)

PK008 on my nails above
PP903 on my toes above!

Etude House Vital Firm Super Fruits Line!

Yeah a new line to try! It comes in a lotion, super cream, lotion, massage serum, and essence! It contains several fruit extracts!

Etude House Peach Tint Blusher

After buying the pink color number 3, I decided to try the Peach color. Just as the pink one, it has a nice cooling effect when applied. It also makes your cheeks look glowy, dewy, and just pinched! It lasts for about 2 hrs before reapplication is needed.
The is the color blended in on my hand. I paid around $5.0 on gmarket. These remind me of the Tarte cheek stains but they obviously do not have the same staying power. Lastly, the blusher has a nice peach smell!

Etude House Baby Skin Veiling Pact

So I purchased this lovely little face powder for $6.50 on Gmarket. It is made with real baby powder and it is moisturizing. Also, it has an SPF of 22
The design impressed in the powder is very pretty. It disappears in one use. Also, the smell is lovely. It is a light baby powder scent. It is not overpowering like other Asian face powders.

One the left is a swatch of the powder and on the right the powder is blended in. Once blended in, it looks very natural. I recommend this powder for the price and for the effect!

Etude House Dual Change Eyeliner + Eyeshadows + Petite Lipsticks

So the dual change liner is similar to many eyeliners. However, it is not a felt tip liner. It is a brush liner. This is why I really like this eyeliner. It can move more with the shape of your eye. Whereas a felt tip liner cannot do this. Technically, practically any liquid eye liner can be a dual change. What Etude House means by dual change is that you can use the tip of the liner to make a fine line or you can press harder and use more of the side to make a thick line. The precision of the liner is impressive. Also, it is not leaky or a thick solution. It is like a sharpie pen. Also, it stays on for a long time and you need eye makeup remover to remove it. It was around $5 on Gmarket.com

These shadows were only $3.0 a piece on Gmarket. com and for the price the payoff I think is worth it. Not to mention the cute designs. These were from the "Etude House" seller.
The colors below are swatches of the shadows. From left to right, PK704, GR601, PK006,WH704, YL802.
The Petite lipsticks are nice because they are smaller so that they can be carried around easier and because if you are like me, a smaller amount is better because you will never get through a normal size one. This is only because I have like 500+ lipsticks =)
Some of the colors have glitter and some are matte. Either way they all have a glossy finish. You have to apply 2 coats to get full coverage. Also the lipsticks impart a super soft feeling when applied.
From left to right, PP902, PK002, PK005, PK008.

Etude House Orgel Light Highlighter

This highlighter was an interesting buy because it is a very shimmery white highlighter. Most highlighters are of a pink tint or a brown tint. This I like because it is great for the cheeks and eyes. I have yet to see such a white shimmer highlighter. It has a creamy texture and a little goes a long way. This will sure last for a while. This was purchased from Gmarket

The picture below is what the highlighter looks like on my hand. As you can see, it is very white, even against my fair skin. It looks powdery but it actually looks creamy on the face.

Etude House Peach Tint Blusher #3 Watery pink

This was a great cheap buy! $5.50 on Gmarket.  It feels cool to the touch and imparts a very frosty sheen with a pink tint. I am going to purchase the orange one soon. It does not make you feel oily later in the day. It does feel a little sticky on your cheeks but what stick blusher does not?

#3 watery pink

This is the color rubbed in on my hand. It can be made darker by adding more. It gives a cute glow to your cheeks!
