Clio Art Shadow 6 Pink Lavendar

A new purchase! So one of my favorite things about Clio is that every picture on a compact has a different picture. Clio is an Italian Based company and they have really neat italian inspired designs. Also the compacts are very sturdy. The compacts come with a small curved eyeshadow applicator.  These compacts are duplicated in style and design to the Bourjois collection. THis was bought from Gmarket for $12.00
The texture of the eyeshadow is a little chalky but completely do able. They remind me of older Urban Decay cosmetics. More powdery than silky. There is a soft silver sparkle in both shadows. The colors are pigmented but they are not very intense. It could be do the color I chose rather than the product itself. But either way it gives a cute doll glow! Also the pink looks great on cheeks!
Here is a swatch of the colors in this pact.

Bourjois Volume Clubbing Mascara Disco Blue

I really think this mascara is quite neat! First off I love Bourjois Mascara's. I would go as far as to say they are one the God's in creators of Mascaras. There is a reason why they have so many! I have tried several and I have never...I repeat have never been disappointed!

So the clubbing mascara does give super volume! Also I like the big fat brush! The color is quite different too! Rather than the usually navy blue, this is a soft baby pearl blue mascara. The picture below is identical to the color!

In the picture below I am wearing the clubbing mascara. You can see where my lashes are dark and where the mascara is. Also it looks great if you put it against two contrasting colors because it makes it look dark blue and light blue all at the same time! Also I had to put on two coats and you see how well it separated my lashes! I bought this on the Sephora site when all of bourjois went to 50% off. So I only paid $8.0!

Sephora Brand Glitter Liner in 03 Opal

I am super impressed with the Sephora Brand Glitter Liners. It comes in several colors.  Gold, Purple, Teal, Blue, Silver, Black, and the color I bought Opal. These are only $12.00!

These are the same quality as Urban Decay Glitter liners! The UD liners are $18 and you get half the size! This is a steal! That is one thing that I do love about Sephora. They make knock offs of all the hit products!

The product goes on easy and driers quicker than the Urban Decay liner. It lasts all day and the glitter is fine enough that is does not irritate your eyes.

This is the color on my hand. Look how pretty! I even put it in my hair and I tipped the edge of my eyelashes with it!

Urban decay Liquid Liner in Acid Rain. Urban Decay Deluxe Eyeshadow in Heat

The pictures on the deluxe shadows are really pretty! However, one small problem. I have noticed that in the Sephora stores that these pictures come off of the case because the pictures are glued to a clear plastic piece which is glued to the top of the eyeshadow. A word of advice watch out for that is you reach for these shadows a lot.
The urban decay liquid liners come in several colors! Ranging from Glossy, Glossy with glitter, and Metallic! They dry pretty quick and last for a long time. They do not last as long as MAC but they do last for a while. The container is really cool looking. However, I have poked myself with the point of the container before and it hurts because it so pointy! Also the brush is not great with this product because it picks up too much liquid. They need a more narrow wiper in it.
At the bottom of my hand is the urban decay liquid liner in Acid Raic. Above that is the deluxe eyeshadow in heat. Heat is different than most reads because it has a glow of gold in it. It looks amazing on dark skin. Even though I am pale, I thought I might try because it is one of the best reds that I have seen to date.

Clio Professional Art Highlighter 2 Soft Pink

Such a great brand! I bought this highlighter in Flushing, NY. I paid $35.00 for it. You can buy it on Sasa.com for $20.00 or on Gmarket for $13.00. When I saw this swatched on my hand and blended in...I feel in love for it!
It is a soft beautiful baked like highlighter with a chunkier pink iridescent shimmer. You could you this brush for a soft glow or use your finger to create a dramatic highlight. You can even use it for an eyeshadow! This amazing highlighter also comes in pearl white!
Just look how pretty!

Hyaluronic Acid - So What is it? Why is it in Beauty Products?

Chemical Structure of HA (Hyaluronic Acid)
Where HA's are found in our skin.  Right below our top layer of skin.
Products we know of that contain HA.

Hyaluronic Acid is a major chemical that is found throughout the whole body. It is found in skin tissues and in our nerve cells. It is major factor that contributes to our body making more cells. Inside our skin, there are layers of connective tissue that are spongy like and hole three major components in this sponge: Water, proteins and Hyaluronic acid.

This acid loves water! It attracts water to that area and plumps the skin! So this is why its great to have it in face creams and powders!

The acid promotes increased skin hydration, keeps skin moist and smooth, enhances skin elasticity, enhances collagen synthesis, nourishes healthy skin growth, promotes firm skin tone, and lastly promotes healthy joints! This is why it is in a lot of pills that support knew joints.

So Ladies, don't be afraid of this chemical sounding name! It is actually really good for you! Now we know why our creams and products are expensive if this is in there! Think of it like a "vitamin" for your body!

URBAN DECAY SUSTAINABLE SHADOWS

I love this new kit by Urban Decay. First off the lid is made of Bamboo! Also, the papers used are all recycled and you wouldn't even know it! The palette's lid just swings around on the hinge but and it is also magnetic. Also for the price you get 10 eyeshadows for $36 and the price of one Urban Decay eyeshadow is $16! Even if this palette is too big for you, which I still think its very portable, you can pry them out and put them in a magnetic palette!

I love every Urban Decay Eyeshadow box because you get so many great colors for the price. So why bother purchasing singles?

This kit also comes with an animal cruelty free brush. It is actually a decent quality brush. One more great thing, the quit comes with a mini primer potion!

The shadows in this kit from left to right are: YDK, FLIPSIDE (MY NEW FAVE), GRIFTER, UZI, TWICE BAKED. SECOND LINE: MIDNIGHT COWBOY RIDES AGAIN, FLASH (ANOTHER NEW FAVE OF MINE), OIL SLICK, KIDDIE POOL, AND HALF BAKED.

So pigmented! So different! So edgy!
